The Detroit Lions. What in the... WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!?! You guys gave me hope last season that this season would be OUR SEASON. That we'd make a legitimate run in the playoffs and make people start considering the team as a threat! Stafford, come on man! You had an amazing season last year when you were healthy. It seems like you lost some of your confidence, WHY?? You and Megatron should be closing in on the other great Quarterback- Wide Receiver combos like Joe Montana and Jerry Rice or Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne and/ or Marvin Harrison.
We need some improvement still and that's for sure. I'd probably start with that defense you have. The secondary needs to pick it up. Your job is to cover the receivers and atleast be able to tackle them if they do catch it. You guys aren't doing either! Next would be the penalty problem you guys picked up this season. Knock it off! Play right and play clean! You can't afford all the flags you guys get. It just holds you back more. And lastly, quit throwing it away in the 4th quarter! Hold it together for once.
All I know is, I still have faith. I may be questioning why I do sometimes, but it's still there. Maybe it'll be next season. But I know our time IS coming. So make it happen!
